Synapse questions the certainty that photographic narratives are historically claimed. Instead the work poses a narrative that stirs the liminality of memory; childhood references, a metaphor for current positions of power, of emblematic forces of the mundane, of uncertainty. The work becomes a series of ongoing starts and stops, seemingly disconnected, a mere structure for conveyance of subjects that want to recall childhood, anthropology, natural history and the ordinary.
